About Me

Hello! I'm Gia Tran, a web designer and developer based in Saskatchewan, Canada. I have a passion for creating thoughtful, user-centered websites that blend aesthetics with functionality. With a background in both design and coding, I enjoy the entire process of bringing ideas to life on the web.

My work blends UX & UI design with front-end development, allowing me to design not just how a product looks, but how it works. I focus on structure, clarity, and usability — translating ideas into clean interfaces and functional, responsive websites.

I come from a non-traditional background and spent several years working before transitioning into design and development. That experience shaped my approach: practical, intentional, and grounded in real user needs rather than trends.

I’m especially drawn to minimal design systems, meaningful interactions, and layouts that feel calm and deliberate. Whether I’m wireframing, designing interfaces, or coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, my goal is always the same: create digital experiences that feel intuitive and human. GIA. Artlab is my personal space to experiment, refine my skills, and build work with purpose.

When I'm not coding, you can find me exploring new design trends, experimenting with cooking, or indulging in my love for photography. I'm always eager to connect with like-minded individuals, so feel free to reach out if you'd like to collaborate or just say hi!
